Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised by the room, exceeding my expectations for the price paid. However, there was an issue with being double charged at check-in despite having pre-booked and paid. The service during very poor weather was commendable, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, while spacious and comfortable with quality fittings, were quite a distance from Reception and lacked storage space. However, they did provide good access to the outdoors. The service from the staff was generally positive, with friendly interactions, but there were some hiccups with the drink orders. The location was a bit of a mixed bag, with a comfortable bed and a cozy fire, but it could get uncomfortably cold at times. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some days being better than others. Overall, worth trying out but with a few areas that could be improved.
My stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations in some areas while falling short in others. The rooms were fantastic, larger than expected, and beautifully furnished. However, the check-in process was quite lengthy, taking over 2 hours. The cleanliness of the room could have been better with more attention to detail.
The hotel had tasteful and cosy rooms but could benefit from being a little cleaner. The farm-to-table food was delicious, and the modern room with a mini fridge was spacious and well-equipped.
The hotel was a good distance from the restaurant/bar area, very clean with a small fridge in the room which was a bonus. It seemed newly decorated and was the venue for a baby shower where we also enjoyed afternoon tea. The staff were really helpful and nice, although they seemed a bit stressed in the kitchen. The location was wonderful, perfect for walking with our dog and close to Peterhead, one of Europe's busiest fishing ports. The dining was a mix of bog-standard and amazing, depending on the meal, and the facilities were decent but in need of a tidy up in some areas.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were nice, though not extraordinary. Remember to book the restaurant and spa in advance. The location was lovely, offering a grand ambiance. Dining had its ups and downs, and the facilities were decent.
